LAHORE: Director General of the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi has made a key administrative change in the agency, appointing SP Atif Amir as Additional Director of the NCCIA Lahore Zone.
According to information shared regarding the notification, Hussam Bin Iqbal has been transferred from his Lahore assignment to NCCIA Headquarters, while Atif Amir has been posted in his place as Additional Director Lahore Zone.
Atif Amir Appointed Additional Director Lahore
Atif Amir previously served in Lahore Police, including assignments as SP City Operations and SP Cantt Operations. He was transferred from Punjab Police to the NCCIA only a few days before his latest posting.
Change Follows New NCCIA DG Appointment
The change comes shortly after Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi assumed charge as NCCIA Director General in September 2026. His appointment as DG was officially notified by the federal government.
Hussam Bin Iqbal had been serving in a senior NCCIA role in Punjab. Recent reports from September identified him as the agency’s Punjab director and documented operations conducted under his supervision.
