LAHORE: TikToker Samia Mubarak, sister of TikToker Nadeem Mubarak, known as Nadeem Nani Wala, was arrested after an incident at a police checkpoint in Lahore’s Defence B area.
TikToker Arrested After Checkpoint Incident
Police said Mubarak was driving an Audi without a number plate when officers signalled her to stop. She allegedly drove away, and a constable was injured after being struck by the vehicle. Police later detained Mubarak and a friend and registered a case.
Three Police Officials Removed From Posts
In a subsequent development, three Defence B police officials, including the station house officer and a female constable, were removed from their posts amid allegations of preferential treatment and Mubarak’s release after her arrest. The allegations are subject to inquiry.
