Mother Alleges Repeated Abuse as Police Trace Suspect in More Than Eight Motorcycle Thefts

Lahore, October 10, 2026: Lahore Police have recovered a mother and her children during a raid in connection with a motorcycle theft investigation in the Ravi Road area. Police teams are conducting raids to arrest the main suspect.

Mother and Children Recovered During Police Raid

According to police, a motorcycle was stolen on October 5, and an e-challan was received from the Shakargarh area just three hours later. The footage reportedly showed the suspect riding the motorcycle with children seated on it.

The following day, another motorcycle was stolen and traced through CCTV cameras. During a subsequent raid, police found a mother and her children who were allegedly subjected to violence.

During interrogation, the woman reportedly told police that her husband used crystal methamphetamine, commonly known as ice, and assaulted her and the children two to three times a month. She also alleged that he was involved in theft.

Police said the mother and children were taken into protective custody and safely handed over to their relatives.

Police Continue Search for Main Suspect

Investigators further claimed that the suspect had allegedly stolen more than eight motorcycles from areas falling within the City Division. Police also said the suspect’s elder son from his second wife was allegedly involved.

Police teams are continuing efforts to arrest the main accused.

Meanwhile, a police spokesperson rejected allegations that Ravi Road Police personnel had subjected the children to violence, stating that such claims were contrary to the facts.
